Feeder Design

Feeder width is determined by the unit’s capacity and maximum feed size. Overall length is determined by installation and capacity requirements.

Gundlach Feeders consist of a Feeder Hopper Section and a Frame Section. The Feeder Drive is a primary component of the Feeder Hopper Section. Main components making up the Frame Section include the Head, Center, and Tail.

Feeder Hopper Section

The Feeder Hopper Section is specially designed to accept mined materials according to specific haulage equipment and production requirements. Constructed of all-welded steel plates with replaceable wear plates, the Feeder Hopper Section is matched to your specific installation requirements.

Feeder-Crusher Package Ideal for Truck Dump Station Applications

The Feeder side of the Feeder-Crusher Package consists of a drag-flight feeder system. If your operation is a truck dump station, then Gundlach is the answer.

The Crusher side of the Feeder-Crusher Package can vary. Crushers used with our Feeder line are 40” (1.0m) wide or larger. Our large capacity Feeders (90”/2.3m or 120”/3m widths) are fabricated to match up with the 5000 Series Crusher or our Breaker Series.
